Muwasala is an online repository for the scholarly teachings of the blessed tradition of Hadramawt. The word muwasala simultaneously means “connection” and “continuity.” These two words explain the underlying purpose of this website: to open the doors for seekers to benefit from one of the great scholarly traditions of the Ummah, firstly by establishing a connection to its teachings, and secondly by embarking upon a continual path of study.
Throughout the centuries, the school of Hadramawt has had a great influence on the Ummah worldwide. It has taught millions of people how to truly emulate the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and thereby tread the path of Islam, Iman, and Ihsan, which leads to knowledge of Allah. It has also shown people how to rectify themselves and thereby rectify humanity as a whole. We hope and pray that Muwasala will be a means to continue this noble work in our times.
