Through prayers upon the Beloved ﷺ, the one whose heart never sleeps, Sayyidi al-Habib `Umar (may Allah protect him and benefit us by him) teaches us to ask for the best and sweetest of things:
O Living, O Self-Existing, the One Who never sleeps, bestow abundant prayers and peace upon the one whose heart never sleeps, Your Beloved, our Master Muhammad, and upon his Family and Companions.
Through those prayers may our hearts awaken from their slumber, may we attain all that we seek, may we receive all the good things of this life and the next and may we be honored with the sweetest of conversations in the ever-lasting abode while You are content with us, O Possessor of Majesty and Generosity.
All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
