Habib Umar bin Hafiz (may Allah protect him and benefit us by him) recommends reciting this prayer upon the Prophet ﷺ in abundance during the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah:
اللهمَّ يا ربَّ الفَجْر، وليالٍ عَشْر، والشَّفْعِ والوَتْر، صَلِّ وسَلِّم على سيِّدِنَا محمَّدٍ البَدْر، وعلى آلِهِ وصَحبِهِ النُّجومِ الزُّهر، واشرَحْ لنا بهِ كُلَّ صَدْر، وأصلِحْ لنا بهِ كُلَّ أمْر، وفَرِّجْ كُروبَ أُمَّتِه، واحشُرْنا في زُمْرَتِه
Allāhumma ya rabba’l-fajr wa layālin ‘ashr wa’shafi’ wa’l-watr ṣalli wa sallim ‘alā Sayyidinā Muḥammadin al-badr wa ‘alā ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi al-nujūm al-zuhur wa’shraḥ lanā bihi kulla ṣadr wa aṣliḥ lanā bihi kulla amr wa farrij kurūba ummatih wa’ḥshurnā fi zumratih
O Allah, Lord of the dawn, the Ten Nights and the even and the odd, bestow prayers and peace upon our Master Muhammad, the Full Moon and upon his Family and Companions, the brilliant stars, and by him expand all of our chests, rectify all our affairs, remove the troubles of his nation and unite us with his group on the Day of Resurrection.
