The Door of Repentance is Open

Sayyidi Habib Umar bin Hafiz (may Allah protect him and benefit us by him) discusses tawbah (repentance) and reminds us that Allah’s door is always open. 

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us that Allah has opened the door of repentance, a door so wide that it would take seventy years to cross from one side to the other and that it will remain open until the sun rises from the west. What should be read on the last night of the year?

You should read the duas of the pious mentioned in the book ‘Kanz al-Najah wa’l-Surur,’ you should seek forgiveness from Allah (istighfar) and bestow prayers upon the Prophet ﷺ in abundance.

At what point should I increase my awrad?

You do this when you are consistent in reciting the awrad that you are already reciting and you have the desire to increase and sufficient time to do so.
